Emergency First Response course encompass adult, child and infant CPR and first aid skills, and incorporates Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) training and emergency oxygen use. The Emergency First Response courses build lay rescuer confidence to provide care when faced with a medical emergency. Participants learn and practice the same patient care techniques and principles used by medical professionals but aimed at and served to a lay person level.

The Emergency First Response course meets the CPR and first aid training requirements for the PADI Rescue Diver course and all professional-level ratings.
This course is for someone who hasn’t had any training in the past.
Emergency First Response Refresher Course
For those who have done an Emergency First Response course in the past and would like to brush up on skills for when they may need them. Divemasters and others with professional level qualifications require refreshers every 2 years.
Emergency First Response Instructor Course
For those Emergency First Responders who would like to teach the very handy skills onto others. This course is especially useful for people going on to professional level diving certifications. If you have a current first aid certificate, but it is not EFR we can run an EFR course alongside the Instructor course to get you certified. Please note that an Instructor application fee is payable to direct to PADI, and is not included in the course cost.
