Don’t miss a dive due to minor issues with your scuba diving equipment. Whether it's a missing o-ring, wetsuit tear or a broken fin strap, the PADI Equipment Specialist course teaches you to manage basic repairs and adjustments. You'll also learn more about how your gear works, making you more comfortable with it and better prepared to take care of your investment.
The Emergency Oxygen Provider Course has two parts:
- Knowledge Development (you will be sent an elearning code for you to login and study, independently prior to the practical sessions)
- Practical class session where you will learn about routine care and maintenance procedures as well as scuba equipment storage recommendations. Your instructor will show you how to overcome some common equipment problems and offer equipment configuration suggestions.
The course takes about 6 hours.
This course does not have any in-water training.
Courses are run on demand.
- PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent certification
- Medical Statement filled out
You can start your course right away when you purchase "Start NOW". You will be sent an eLearning code, a link to the eLearning web page, and instructions on how to access the online theory content.

In order to complete the course, you will still need to finish any remaining training elements, including medical forms, pool and sea training, if included. You will need to pay for the remainder of the course before your in water training commences.
