Take the journey towards becoming a Padi Dive Instructor with the New Zealand Diploma in Diving.
The Diploma in Professional Scuba Instruction is a level 5 Diploma and is eligible for student loans and allowances.
Our comprehensive Instructor program guides you through learning to dive, doing advanced and specialty dives, dive supervision and leadership skills. Have fun while learning to become a confident Padi Dive Instructor.
On successful completion, you graduate as a Padi Dive Instructor ready to start work in the exciting dive industry. Imagine a career doing what you love, sharing that excitement with others and getting paid for it. Our graduates are in high demand, and we have past students currently working all over the world.
Prerequisites:
- No previous diving experience required
- Students must obtain a diving medical clearance prior to course commencement
- Students must be 18 years of age before being certified as a Divemaster
Program Highlights:
- 45 weeks of full-time study, 4 days per week
- Over 100 dives included
- Graduate as a Padi instructor with 5 Specialty Instructor qualifications
- Boat excursions and practical trips across New Zealand to experience various diving styles
- Assistance developing your CV and support with job placement
- Hands on experience working with real students under the guidance of our experienced staff
- Graduates of the 45 week programme will be awarded the New Zealand Certificate in Diving (Level 3) and New Zealand Diploma in Diving (Level 5).
