Wetties kevlar booties are heavy duty without adding extra thickness. The kevlar sole, latex on seams, toe & heel means the booties are fine for walking over rocks but also comfy and soft inside fins.
29/71 Nose Clip
The 29/71 nose clip began life as a wax sculpture to assess the best ergonomic function of hand to nose movement, coupled with a comfortable anatomical fit for the human nose.
From here they used CAD to design a 3D model, making a sleek 2-part interlocking nose clip bringing form and function into one design. The final product is then 3D printed.
When the nose clip is closed, the grip pattern allows the water to flow away from the nose, further securing the clip to your nose and allowing you to equalise deeper with confidence.
Material Nose Clip: 3D Print Nylon Grip Pads: Polyurethane 30Shore
Neck Cord Parachute Cord 2mm Length 45cm
Ergonomic shape for hands-free compensation
Light and compact
Soft overloaded area for maximum grip and comfort
Can be applied on the mask or the nose
Ideal for swimming and free diving in all environments
Emergency Oxygen Provider Specialty
Immediately recognize scuba diving illnesses treatable with emergency oxygen and be prepared to offer aid. There are no prerequisites or age restrictions. This course is open to everyone.
Knowing how and when to use emergency oxygen is a great skill to have and means you’re ready to help others should the need arise. Becoming a PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider lets you breathe easy knowing that you can recognize scuba diving illnesses treatable with emergency oxygen, and are prepared to offer aid.
There are no prerequisites, age restrictions or water sessions required for this course – it’s open to everyone. Scuba divers, snorkelers and anyone who is around divers – boat crew, lifeguards, etc. – will benefit from having this training.
The Emergency Oxygen Provider Course has two parts:
Knowledge Development (you will be given a manual to study, independently prior to the practical class)
1 x Practical class session where you will learn about dive injuries, different types of emergency oxygen equipment and safety considerations when using oxygen. Then you’ll practice:
Assembling and disassembling emergency oxygen equipment.
Deploying a non-rebreather mask and a demand inhalator valve on a breathing diver.
Using a pocket mask on a nonbreathing diver.
The course takes place over 3-4 hours.
Courses are run on demand.

Superzip Boots - 5MM
The Superzip has an extra-thick sole, heavy-duty protective panels on the upper, and a durable zipper to withstand years of use without tearing. This is the boot for an avid diver who needs to be prepared for cold water, rough terrain, less-than-luxurious boats, and murky, low-viz conditions that hide hazards.
Ergonomic: Like the rest of the Aqua Lung boot line, the Superzip uses our patented, anatomically correct ERGO™ shaped footbed and outsole to match the profile of your foot, preventing excess water retention and offering comfortable support.
Protective: 8mm-thick treaded sole provides premium protection against punctures, stings, and slips. For added protection and durability, the panels on the heel cap, toe, and top of the foot are twice as thick as in the standard boots!
Warm: 5mm neoprene upper
Comfortable The Superzip boot uses just a few seams, which are placed away from the widest parts of the feet to minimize chafing.
Durable Closes with a heavy-duty, non-corrosive #10 YKK toothed zipper. Elastic binding at the top resists wear and tear.
Eco-Conscious Packaging: Ships with minimal carbon footprint packaging. No plastic bags
These are US sizes - NOT NZ - so order one size larger than your usual NZ Shoe size.
Workhorse Socks 3MM
Wetties most heavy duty booties yet! With a kevlar toe, kevlar heel, tough sole & latex on the seams this is as rugged as it gets!
Will fit inside your full foot pockets but we suggest going up a size.
BOOTIES SIZING GUIDE
For Wettie Neoprene Socks & 'Workhorse' Booties. Sizing is men's US shoes. Wettie booties are designed to be a very snug fit with the heel seam sitting just under the heel. This is to eliminate this seam rubbing while wearing fins. If you are in between sizes, we suggest going up a size.
