This 12L Rob Allen spearfishing float is a really good option for 99% of spearfishing in New Zealand.

The float is constructed of a hard polyethylene outer shell that is then foam blown to increase rigidity and prevent the float from being crushed if it is pulled under.

The new streamlined shape makes it easy to tow for shore diving surf entries.

Comes with a dive flag, keel weight and 2 shark clips, one on each end to ease the float line connection and catch bag.

This float has a separate chamber on the bottom which fills with water & holds itself upright. Push the bottom of the float under water for 10 seconds and away it goes.It  sits high in the water meaning it is easier to spot.

The Flood float also features a easy flag attachment system so you can securely screw your flag in place then remove it to store in your dive bag.

Made from UV stable PVC tubing with an outside diameter of 9mm and an inner cord of 4mm dyneema winch rope these bungees will stretch by more than 20% of their original length.

They are air filled which makes them very buoyant and less likely to tangle.
Fitted with a swivel at one end and fish threader at the other these bungees are ready to hit the water and help you get those big fish!

The 29/71 Lanyard was designed and constructed with your safety in mind. Made with 316 Marine Grade steel for the strength element and 3D printed parts for its hydrodynamic and aesthetic function.

As most movement in the dive happens when turning for the surface, they have added a swivel function at the wrist strap end of the lanyard to smoothly adjust to your change in direction. The carabiner is weighted to track you when in freefall, reducing resistance during your descent.

The PADI Advanced Open Water course is a great way for qualified divers to gain valuable experience in a supervised manner.

As an Advanced Open Water student you will take part in five dives, each aiming to give you experience and skills in different types of diving. Two of these dives are done from our boat (weather dependant).

The Navigation and Deep dives are required, with the other three chosen by the group. These five dives & theory sessions will give you the confidence and ability to dive in similar conditions.

Gaining this certification also qualifies you to dive up to 30m.

It’s no surprise, then, that those headed up into unspoiled heights include scuba divers.

Fresh water mountain lakes are often cool, clean and clear, with interesting aquatic life. Artificial lakes and reservoirs formed amid mountains also offer unique diving opportunities. Both these natural and manmade wonders require special procedures for altitude diving. Altitude diving is your door to dive opportunities inland, away from the ocean, and amid some of the most beautiful surroundings on earth. And if you enjoy other pursuits that take you toward the top of the world, now you can bring your gear and scuba, too.

Therefore the philosophy of this course is to focus on extending your students diving opportunities by teaching them accepted altitude diving techniques and procedures. The goal of this course is to serve as an introduction to altitude diving and help the student diver develop the necessary altitude diving skills, knowledge and techniques. Students should be able to safely plan, organize and execute no decompression dives at altitudes up to 3000 metres/10,000 feet.

Students apply altitude diving knowledge and skills during actual open water dives. The course philosophy therefore, is to expand student diver knowledge about altitude diving and decompression theory, altitude diving physiology, altitude diving equipment considerations, and, using the recreational dive planner at altitude. Once learned, student divers apply the knowledge by making at least two open water dives practicing and demonstrating the practical aspects of altitude diving.

Features an innovative Diver Changeable Exhaust system (DCE). This system gives the diver the ability to change from a small exhaust tee to a large exhaust tee. This gives the user a choice, wider exhaust tee for minimal bubble interference (essential for underwater photography) and narrow exhaust tee for a smaller compact comfortable regulator. First Stage:

Second Stage

• Pneumatically-balanced second stage results in smooth, easy breathing.
• The XTX purge buttons are large and easy to operate. A 2-stage progressive purge is used - press the purge on the side for a lower flow rate, useful where more control is required such as filling lift bags etc, then press in the centre for the full effect of the purge, i.e. when regulator clearing etc.
• The large venturi lever has a soft touch rubber grip, which makes it easier to locate and use. The lever reduces the amount of grit ingress and therefore resists any possible friction giving a smooth operation.
• Easy-to-grip opening effort control knob keeps the diver in control.
• The second stage is manufactured with active protection against infection as all molded parts are produced with an additive that kills MRSA, protects against E-Coli, bacteria and fungi, and is also very effective against viruses, mould, yeast and algae.
• A silicone exhaust valve improves the breathing performance of the regulator.
• The Comfo-bite™ mouthpiece virtually eliminates jaw-fatigue.
• A heat exchanger (patented) which surrounds the valve mechanism, dissipates the cold caused by gas expansion while drawing in the warmth of the ambient water.
