UW Navigation Specialty Course Content

The Underwater Navigation Diver Course has two parts:

• Knowledge Development (you will be sent a code for your e-learning. You can study independently, and complete the e-learning prior to your sea dives) you will learn the tools of the trade, including navigation using natural clues and by following compass headings

• 3 x Open Water Dives to practice methods to estimate distance underwater, compass navigation while making at least five turns, marking or relocating a submerged object or position from the surface, and underwater map making.

The course takes place over 2-3 days.

Courses are scheduled on demand.
