Enriched Air Diver

The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is one of PADI’s most popular specialty scuba diving course, and it’s easy to see why!

Scuba diving with enriched air nitrox can give you more no-decompression dive time, so you can typically stay down longer and get back in the water sooner.

No wonder many divers choose this as their very first specialty, as with more time underwater, espeacially on repetitive dives, it means more time doing the thing you love - Diving!

The basic theory behind diving with enriched air, is the higher percentage of Oxygen, and lower level of nitrox, available to you within your scuba tank.

This course will introduced you to the theory behind this and how this can give you more dive time, as well the techniques for planning enriched air dives using speacialized dive tables, and the assosiated saftey considerations, such as mananging oxygen exsposure and choosing enriched air scuba diving equipment.

In addition to this, it will teach you how to tell what’s in your scuba tank and set your dive computer, and select equipment.

After reviewing all the basic theory, you will then be able to put all this into practise, by analysing cylinders, planning your dives and heading out for 2 optional Enriched Air dives with our weekend club.
