Hi Divers,

Aqualung have notified us that a small number of bcd's with Powerline inflators have been continuing to inflate after the button is released during a dive.

After thorough investigation and testing, Aqualung have identified the cause to be the bezel surrounding the button being overtightened.

All BCD’s with a Powerline inflator that begins with an H or I date code that were purchased from Aqua Lung Australia after July 1st 2015 may be affected.

It is a very simple procedure to rectify the problem. Please follow these steps if you suspect your BCD maybe effected:

1. Check the markings on your inflator to see if it is one of the effected units. If you are unsure bring it in for us to check.

2. If your Inflator has a recalled ID number, please drop it into Dive Wellington so we can make an adjustment to the bezel which has been known to cause problems.

3. Depending on the availability of a service technician, this may only take a few minutes.
